Hello there!

Welcome to Yoga by Alice, a business that is dedicated to helping each individual create the best and the most unique mind-body experience to help them achieve the ultimate version of his or her self.

But what does that even mean? Basically, I want to help YOU live your ultimate life by using yoga! Check out any of my services from privates to corporate gigs, and if you don't find exactly what you're looking for - shoot me a message, I love to work on new projects and am inspired by new creative endeavors. We all have obstacles in our lives, and although we can never fully get rid of them, we can become better at navigating the currents. Whether you want to reduce stress, lose weight, recover from heartbreak/loss, or alleviate chronic pain, yoga will be your boat and I will be your captain.

Who really is Alice though? I am a student of over ten years and a learner for life. I began my practice over 10 years ago after being diagnosed with Crohn's Disease as a way to alleviate symptoms and increase overall health. My mom dragged to my first class in Cleveland, Ohio and probably the next 100. It took me years to actually fall in love with the practice, but what really flipped my whole world was finding a teacher that resonated with me. By the time I was 16 I knew I wanted to become a yoga teacher and be the reason someone else could fall in love with yoga, and ultimately themselves.

In the summer of 2016 I received my 200HR vinyasa yoga teacher certification from Yoga Six in Columbus, OH learning under the impressive Katie Brauer. I am also currently attending The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio studying Nutrition Sciences, becoming well-versed in not only nutrition, but human biology and anatomy/physiology. Due to my studies, I truly value and focus on human anatomy and kinesiology to develop a physical practice that is safe for the body. I believe through a safe practice, one can free their mind. Vinyasa Flow is my go to class to practice and to teach because of the way that the postures allow the student to disconnect from reality to free their mind.

I currently teach yoga in Columbus, Ohio at The Ohio State University as well as The Yoga Loft in Shawnee Hills, Ohio. I am occasionally found at Bexley Yoga located in Bexley, Ohio.

Besides yoga, I enjoy spending my time reading, traveling, outdoor activities such as biking, backpacking, hiking, kayaking, and rock climbing, as well as spending my time with my rescue pit-bull, Eva.  I am incredibly passionate about living a whole and healthy lifestyle, no matter what that means to each individual. I also value spending time with my friends and family, including my pets. An essential part of my life, is travel. When I'm not on my mat, I try to spend as much time as I can exploring new places.
